This medium sized breed is well balanced, strong and compact. These creatures are powerful, protective and agile. The coat of these dogs is shiny and close fitting; it comes in brindle, fawn, red and white colors, but some associations don’t register white animals. Their teeth are very strong; the undershot bite allows better grip. The body is well muscled, but not too massive. The height of the males is 22-25 inches; females are 21-24 inches at the shoulders.
