Boxers Breeders Pictures - Breed Characteristics

Boxers are working dogs and also police dogs, obedience and agility competitors. They can also participate in other activities. Thanks to their intelligence these dogs are easy to train. They strive to please their owners and they bond readily with close family members.

Although these dogs are energetic and curious, Boxers are also known as versatile dogs that can be stubborn at times. These dogs require a dominant owner that will be able to cope with the dog and be wise and understanding with them.

Boxers Breeders Pictures - General Appearance

Height: Males 23-25 inches, females 21-23 inches.
Weight: Males 60-70 pounds, females 55-65 pounds.
Coat: The coat of the dog is rather short and usually comes in the fawn and brindle. White markings on the Boxers' coats are permissible.
Grooming: The dogs of the Boxer breed has a short coat, therefore it is easy to groom the dog. Bathe the Boxer when necessary, but not too often as this may result in washing away of natural oils causing excessive dryness of the skin and coat.

Boxers Breeders Pictures - Breed Usage

These strong and protective hounds have muscular bodies and square bulldog-type muzzles. The breed's uses are as excellent guardians and faithful family friends. The breed's uses as police dogs, guards, watch dogs, rescue dogs and military dogs are other duties for them. Boxers have a reputation to excel in all of these activities.
